RWAS - HSBC Competition 2006
The winners of the competition run jointly by the Society and the HSBC Bank at the 2006 Winter Fair were mid Wales couple John and Margaret Bennett from Knighton in Powys.
“It was our lucky day,” Mrs Bennett said. “We are delighted to be winners and look forward to attending all 3 ‘Royal Welsh’ events this year along with our grandchildren.”
As winners they will receive family admission tickets for the Royal Welsh Smallholder and Garden Festival to be staged at Llanelwedd on May 19 and 20, the four day Royal Welsh Show from July 23 – 26, and the Winter Fair which takes place this year on November 26 and 27.
David Lewis, Chairman of the Board of the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society selects the winners accompanied by Audrey Lewis (Sponsorship Officer) and Sam Bufton.
